Welcome to the European Masters Weightlifting Championships 2027

On behalf of the organizing committee and the Finnish weightlifting community, we are delighted to welcome athletes, coaches, officials, supporters, and families from across Europe to the European Masters Weightlifting Championships 2027.

The championships will take place from 4–13 August 2027 in the beautiful resort area of Peurunka, located in Laukaa, Central Finland. Surrounded by lakes, forests, and the unique Finnish landscape, Peurunka provides an exceptional setting for both high-level competition and an unforgettable championship experience.

The event is organized by Harjun Woima, an energetic weightlifting and wrestling club from Jyväskylä in Central Finland. With a passion for weightlifting and Finnish hospitality, our team is committed to creating an exceptional championship experience both on and off the competition platform.

During the championship week, athletes will compete for European Masters titles while enjoying the hospitality, safety, and natural beauty that Finland is known for. We encourage all participants and their accompanying guests to explore the surrounding region, experience Finnish culture, relax in traditional Finnish saunas, and discover the stunning lakes, forests, and attractions of Central Finland.

Beyond the competition platform, the championships offer a unique opportunity to meet fellow athletes, renew old friendships, and create new memories in one of Europe’s most beautiful natural environments.
