About the Championships
The European Masters Weightlifting Championships 2027 will bring together masters athletes from across Europe for ten days of competition, friendship, and sporting excellence.
Held in the beautiful surroundings of Peurunka, Central Finland, the championships celebrate both the competitive spirit and the strong community that make masters weightlifting unique.
The event welcomes athletes, coaches, officials, supporters, and families from all European countries.
Organizing Club
Founded in 2009, Harjun Woima is a sports club from Jyväskylä, Central Finland, with a strong tradition in both weightlifting and wrestling.
The club is proud to host the European Masters Weightlifting Championships 2027 and welcomes athletes, officials, supporters, and guests from across Europe to Finland.
Together with dedicated volunteers, partners, and the local community, Harjun Woima is committed to creating an exceptional championship experience both on and off the competition platform.

About Masters Weightlifting
Masters weightlifting is open to athletes aged 35 years and older.
The sport continues to grow throughout Europe, bringing together athletes who demonstrate that strength, determination, and athletic excellence can be pursued throughout life.
The European Masters Championships represent the highest level of masters competition in Europe and attract competitors from dozens of countries every year.
Organizing Committee
The organizing committee consists of experienced volunteers, weightlifting enthusiasts, and sports professionals working together to create a memorable championship experience for all participants.
