Getting to Peurunka is Easy
The European Masters Weightlifting Championships 2027 will take place at Peurunka Resort in Laukaa, Central Finland, approximately 25 km from the city of Jyväskylä.
For most international visitors, the easiest and most affordable route is:
Fly to Helsinki → Travel to Jyväskylä by train or bus → Continue to Peurunka with event transportation.
Book Early and Save
We strongly recommend booking flights and transportation as early as possible.
Train and bus tickets in Finland are often significantly cheaper when purchased well in advance, and early booking provides the widest choice of travel options.

Helsinki Airport to Jyväskylä
Most international visitors will arrive via Helsinki Airport.
From Helsinki Airport, Jyväskylä can be reached comfortably by train or long-distance bus in approximately 3–4 hours. Regular connections are available throughout the day.
Easy Transfer to Peurunka
To make travelling as easy as possible for athletes and supporters, the organizing committee plans to provide affordable event bus transportation between Jyväskylä and Peurunka during the championships.
This means that many visitors will be able to complete their entire journey without renting a car.
